Cartridges Unlimited a new local recycled ink and toner supply company has taken steps to decrease its environmental impact. With the addition of a Wind turbine and solar panel on it’s’ roof, they have decided to use alternative energy to power their signs and other features of their stores. They have effectively gone Green. They have had several compliments and questions about this new idea from area residents.

"We feel that as a small company, we can utilize the technology that used to be of tomorrow, in today’s world", states Eric Cozart, VP of Operations. "These systems have become very affordable in the last few years and are becoming more popular with the entire "Green" movement".

The systems are entirely 24 volt which means that anyone can install these that has the proper training. There are no permits required unless you place a wind turbine above a certain height, then you must have permits from the FAA. Cartridges Unlimited purchased the systems locally in Michigan and intends on keeping their money in the state as much as possible. "Michigan has a lot to offer any environmentally friendly company, we found all of our products right here". Says Cozart.
