On Dec. 16, Cartridges Unlimited presented a check to Joe Wright for the Tekonsha Athletic Department general use in the amount of $100. Another check will be donated later this month to bring their total funds raised to $250.

"We value local schools' extra curricular needs and will do anything to help support those needs," says Eric Cozart, vice president of operations at Cartridges Unlimited. "The entire school should be proud of their fundraising efforts."

Cartridges Unlimited, a new local company, in conjunction with Tekonsha Schools began a fundraiser in the first month of school this year, and is continuing this fundraiser indefinitely. Cartridges Unlimited is new to the area and so is the idea of school's raising money by collecting empty cartriges. The goal is to raise as much money as possible for the shcools, while diverting cartridges from landfills.

Cartridges Unlimited recycles the cartridges collected and then resells them at a discounted rate.
